FOXBORO, Mass. – The New England Patriots hosted another open OTAs session on Friday afternoon, but many key players were missing in action. 

Nick Folk (K), Connor McDermott (OL), and Kendrick Bourne (WR) made their return to practice after being absent on Tuesday, but nine new faces did not attend the session later in the week including multiple key defensive playmakers.

The Patriots are back on the field for mandatory minicamp starting on Monday, so maybe players were taking an extra day of rest during the optional OTAs session.
