The blue square.

That one shape symbolizes so much, especially for New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

In March, Kraft announced that his Foundation to Combat Antisemitism was launching a national campaign to stop hateful acts against Jewish people. The #StandUpToJewishHate campaign uses a blue square to symbolize unity and is aimed to raise awareness and respond to antisemitism.

This foundation means so much to Kraft, and he wanted to make sure the newest Patriots' players were aware of the impact it has.

"The reason you're here is to understand a little bit about the culture and the values that our organization and my family have," Kraft said to the Patriots rookie class. "I want to win championships and I wanted to make a difference in the community."

"This blue square, it is a symbol of unity and solidarity of all people," Kraft added. "Each one of you, you now carry my family brand our name. The Patriot logo and the Kraft family is what we are. We want to go out and do things that are bringing people of all backgrounds together."

Kraft and the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism released a powerful video earlier this year, demonstrating exactly what the blue square represents. On the screen, that small square took up just 2.4% of space, with that same percentage representing the jewish population in the United States.

However, the video explains that "Jews are on the receiving end of 55% of all religious hate crimes,"  followed by numerous photos of antisemitism that continues to occur.

The foundation's efforts aims to unite both Jews and non-Jews in the fight and to create a safe space for all.

And he wants to make sure his new team is on board with his endeavors.

"I love this team. The most important thing to me is that we win. But just as important to me is that we build relationships in the community and represent this brand and you individually in the community to do things to bring people together.
