Gillette Stadium renovations update

Gillette Stadium made many improvements during the offseason and on Tuesday, officials provided an update on the renovations. The new areas will be open by the Patriots regular season home opener on September 10.

"Today marks an exciting next step for everyone at Gillette Stadium and we are excited to showcase the work that began back in January of 2022," Chief Marketing Officer of Kraft Sports + Entertainment Jen Ferron said in a statement. "We are thrilled to open the renovated parts of the stadium for the New England Patriots regular season home game on September 10 where we will welcome our Season Ticket Members into a space that was carefully redesigned with the fan experience in mind. We also look forward to providing an upgraded experience for New England Revolution fans and the many others that will visit the stadium for future concerts and events."

Among the renovations, Gillette Stadium has installed a new video board, making it the largest outdoor stadium video board in the country. The board is 22,000 square feet (270 feet by 60 feet), while also featuring a curved radius.

Gillette Stadium has also updated the lighthouse, with it standing at 22 stories high and now includes a 360-degree view. Fans and tourists will be able to visit the lighthouse year-round.

They have also added a Row of Honor to the stadium, with the Patriots announcing that it will "further our commitment to honoring the military."

In June, Gillette Stadium and Anheuser Busch announced Celebration Beer Hall, which provides access to the Patriots players as they walk out onto the field along.

This is a just a few of the numerous changes being made in Foxborough prior to the start of the 2023 season.
