With all the quarterback changes this season for the New England Patriots, Bailey Zappe didn't have much time to get his offensive line a Christmas gift. But he still managed to get them something to say thank you.

While we've seen many of the quarterbacks across the league get these extravagant gifts for their teammates, Zappe, whose contract isn't on the same level as some of the other quarterbacks, can't compete with that. But he still took the time to get them something nice to show his appreciation for all they do.

“It’s nothing crazy,” Zappe said on WEEI's Jones and Mego. “I got each one a pack of four Davidoff cigars. From what I’ve heard, everybody has enjoyed them. I don’t think anybody has smoked them yet, but they have before. And everybody loved the gift. But you know, it’s nothing big. I told them it was short notice, so I wasn’t able to get nothing too big. But they all said it was the thought that counts.”

Prior to their matchup against the Denver Broncos, Zappe revealed to reporters that he did get his offensive linemen a little something. But he wouldn't say anything more than that.

However, now that he has gifted it to them, he was okay to reveal what he got them.

“It was awesome to treat those guys,” Zappe said. “They’ve been working their butts off all year to keep us clean. And they’ve been doing a phenomenal job.”

Since taking over as the starter, the Patriots have had a better offensive output. And with that, Zappe has led the team to two wins over tough opponents.

The offensive line's protection combined with Zappe's coolness in the pocket is a large part of that, so because of that, the quarterback took the time to say thank you this holiday season.
