The NFLPA polled 1,300 of its players to assemble its first team report card, and the New England Patriots didn't fare particularly well.

The Patriots ranked 24th in the overall report card that's based on the treatment of families, food service/nutrition, weight room, strength coaches, training room, training staff, locker room and team travel.

It’s surprising to see the Patriots rank tied for 25th with a D+ in team travel since they own their own team plane, but "54% of players feel like they have enough room to spread out."

New England is set to open a new weight room as part of ongoing stadium renovations. The Patriots ranked 31st with a D grade for their weight room. The results of the poll noted, "The players feel that the facilities and equipment have been the same for a very long time, and they feel like it is understaffed."

Only 64 percent of players "believe club owner Robert Kraft is willing to spend the money necessary for upgrades," according to the poll. Kraft ranks 26th in that category.

Among the Patriots’ better grades, they received a B for food service and nutrition, a B+ for their strength coaches and an A for their training staff. The training room, however, netted a C-.

To round things out, New England earned a C- for treatment of families and a C+ for their locker room. The Patriots are one of 11 teams without a daycare facility and one of 14 teams without a family room. The Patriots' facility is at Gillette Stadium, which opened in 2002 and is undergoing "the most dramatic Gillette Stadium improvements since its opening in 2002," per a stadium release.
