The New England Patriots aren't wasting any time at the 2024 NFL Combine.

Director of Scouting Eliot Wolf made sure to let reporters know who the team plans to speak with this week. And these players should come as no surprise to anyone.

After his press conference, Wolf took a moment to meet with local reporters and said that the team plans to speak with Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Jayden Daniels this week.

Williams, Maye, and Daniels could potential go first, second, and third overall in the draft this year, with the Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders, and Patriots holding those picks.

So the Patriots want to make sure that if they use that No. 3 overall pick on a quarterback, it's going to be a good fit for the team.

Next season is going to be completely different for New England who has become so used to the same way for 24 years. Yet, now they have some leaders who are more open.

And we are already seeing that, with Wolf's willingness to reveal who the Patriots plan to talk with.

All three of these quarterbacks have incredible skill. And while Williams is most likely headed to Chicago, anything is possible.

As for Maye and Daniels, it's unknown what direction the Commanders could go in. So drafting either is possible. However, it should be said that Maye might make more sense since he worked with Sam Howell at the University of North Carolina. But also, it would be hard for Washington to pass up on the Heisman Trophy winner.

The Patriots also have Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe on the roster, with their future still uncertain.

So anything can happen at this point, but meeting with these three quarterback's is a great start.
