Mike Vrabel is bringing in another one of his former players.

Per his agent, linebacker Jack Gibbens is signing a one-year deal with the Patriots. This comes on the same day he reportedly visited Foxborough.

Gibbens spent three seasons in Tennessee, including during Vrabel's final season in 2023. Last year he suffered a season-ending ankle injury that required surgery. He finished with a total of 167 tackles with the Titans.

He adds depth, with the Patriots also having added linebacker Robert Spillane in free agency and brought in another Titan and former Boston College standout Harold Landry III.

Along with these moves, the Patriots also have linebackers Ja'Whaun Bentley, K'Lavon Chaisson, Curtis Jacobs, Anfernee Jennings, Titus Leo, Andrew Parker, and Jahlani Tavai.

Vrabel is loading the roster with players that he and the rest of the coaching staff have confidence in and know the culture he is trying to build. Gibbens is the latest example.
