After 23 seasons and seven Super Bowl championships, New England Patriots legend Tom Brady is making sure that his extensive expertise is not going to waste.
On Thursday, Brady met with the top four rookie quarterbacks during the first day of NFLPA rookie events in Los Angeles.
Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson and Will Levis attended a lunch at Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin's house, learning how to advance their careers both on and off the field, where they met with Brady along with rapper Travis Scott.
NFL agent Deiric Jackson referred to the four quarterbacks as "true professionals" explaining that they had handled their obligations in the morning at the NFLPA Rookie Premier, left for lunch, and returned to the event in the afternoon.
Young was selected as the top overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, joining the Carolina Panthers. Stroud went second overall to the Houston Texans, and Richardson was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts fourth overall.
Levis had a surprising drop, moving out of the first round and instead being the first pick in the second round to the Tennessee Titans.
However, Brady proved that it doesn't matter what round one is selected in, going from being the 199th overall pick to being considered the best quarterback of all time.
The 45-year-old quarterback hung up his cleats in February, but has been staying busy. Along with meeting with rookie quarterbacks, while also showing interest in purchasing shares in the Las Vegas Raiders, he is set to begin his broadcasting career in 2024.
Brady's time in New England is not quite complete with the quarterback returning to Gillette Stadium for the home opener on Sept. 10 against the Eagles where he will be honored for his contribution to the Patriots.
