Long-time Patriots receiver and Foxborough faithful Julian Edelman will be joining Fox Sports on their Sunday Kickoff show, the network announced on Thursday.
Edelman spent his entire career in New England and amassed 6,822 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns. He is widely regarded as one of the best playoff receivers of all time. In playoff history, Edelman ranks second in receptions and second in receiving yards, both behind the widely considered greatest wide receiver of all time: Jerry Rice.
Edelman joins a star-studded cast that includes other former NFL players, such as Hall of Famer Charles Woodson, Michael Vick, and another former Patriots great, Rob Gronkowski. This will be the first time Edelman and Gronkowski have worked together since they last played alongside each other in 2018.
Fox Sports has now secured arguably the three biggest names from the Patriots' historic dynasty, as Tom Brady is set to join Fox Sports in 2024. The trio won three Super Bowls together in 2015, 2017, and 2019. There is an argument for all three to be in Canton, and now they will reunite under one brand again.
