Tom Brady is ready for a potential third stint in the National Football League. So, a second unretiring announcement could come at any point.
On the DeepCut Podcast, Brady was asked if he would ever be open to returning, especially if a team is in an emergency situation. His answer should come as no surprise.
"I'm not opposed to it," Brady said with a smile. "I don't know if they're going to let me by becoming an owner of an NFL team. But, I don't know. I'm always going to be in good shape, always be able to throw the ball, so to come in for a little bit like MJ coming back, I don't know if they'd let me, but I wouldn't be opposed to it."
Age has never been a factor for Tom Brady, who retired (for the second time) at 45-years-old. However, his fitness regime has clearly not slowed down and he says he is always ready to go.
And among the teams that came to his mind were the New England Patriots. So there is clearly no bad blood after he left to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.
However, the one issue is his efforts to join the ownership group of the Las Vegas Raiders. So he might not be allowed to play due to that.
But given that it's Tom Brady, maybe they can work something out.
Brady already has seven Super Bowl championships, but what's one more for the future Hall of Famer?
