Tom Brady's healthy lifestyle isn't going anywhere

Tom Brady is known for his strict fitness regimen, and that won't be going anywhere.

Despite the 45-year-old retiring from football in February 2023, he is determined to keep with his healthy lifestyle.

"My body feels really good," Brady said in an interview with the Associated Press. "I feel like I still have a long life and I want to live a very active lifestyle, so I've got to maintain a level of discipline.

However, he does admit that he has let a few things go in retirement.

"I mean, I think there's definitely later nights than I've had. Maybe a few more tequilas than I've had in the past, and certainly less throwing footballs than in the past," Brady said. "So those things are all a little bit new to me, but I'm not going to stray too far from where I've been."

Brady's diet is very strict, with specific foods to eat and ones to avoid.

Maybe that's why he was able to play for 23 seasons.

"I found that working out, I certainly really enjoy," Brady said. "That was probably why I played so long was I enjoyed that process of working out a lot. And then obviously, taking care of my body was the reason why I loved playing football and I realized if I want to play football a long period of time, I've got to treat my body a certain way and I can't cut corners.

Brady ended his football career with seven Super Bowl championships and as a five-time Super Bowl MVP while holding a bunch of NFL records. With that, he finished with 7753 total completions for 89,214 yards and 649 touchdowns. However, he also does hold the record for the most times being sacked (565).

So, something about his fitness regimen has got to be working to amount to those career statistics.
