On the newest social media platform, the New England Patriots only wanted to get one message across in their first post.

And it was meant to signify one of the most memorable days in the organization's history.

So what did they write?

The answer: "28-3."

On Feb. 5, 2017, the New England Patriots faced off against the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI, but the first half didn't go the way anyone thought it would.

The first quarter remained scoreless between the two teams, but the Falcons scored three consecutive touchdowns to take a 21 point lead in the second half. The Patriots were only able to get three points on the board as the first 30 minutes of the game passed.

And what made it worse was Falcons' owner Arthur Blank made his way down to the sidelines to watch the second half, thinking his team had the game in the bag.

Unfortunately for the Patriots, things did not start out better in the third quarter, with Atlanta scoring another touchdown. With the score now 28-3, it seemed impossible that New England could come back to win the game.

However, Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, James White, and the rest of the Patriots squad had other ideas.

With only two minutes remaining in the third quarter, White caught a five-yard touchdown pass from Brady, but things still couldn't go right for New England as kicker Stephen Gostkowski missed the extra point.

Yet, they stepped it up in the fourth, scoring a field goal followed by two touchdowns, while preventing the Falcons from adding any additional points to their score. After each touchdown, the Patriots were able to successfully get the two-point conversion.

At the end of regulation, the score was tied up at 28, forcing overtime.

And it was White who completed a two-yard touchdown run to provide the Patriots with their fifth Super Bowl victory in franchise history.

While many records were broken, the one that is most remember is that the Patriots win set the record for the largest deficit overcome to win the Super Bowl.

So it's clear why the Patriots want everyone to remember this specific score and what it signifies
