The New England Patriots dominated for over a decade of the 2000s. Now, they sit in a tough situation without a clear starting quarterback. The New Orleans Saints made that clear once again in Week 5.

The Saints beat the Patriots by a score of 34-0. They were dominant in every single way against the legendary Bill Belichick and his squad. The panic in New England has officially hit its highest point in quite some time after the loss to the Saints.

In a poll by NBC Sports Boston, fans voted that firing Bill Belichick was their initial reaction to their second straight embarrassing loss.

Belichick is arguably the greatest NFL head coach of all-time. If he isn't, he is easily top five in the history of the league.

Their shutout loss to the Saints has officially put fans over the edge, though, with 70% of them from the poll choosing the option to get rid of their HC. The other options were 'bench Mac Jones' and 'tank for Caleb Williams.' They weren't interested in those.

It would take a lot for the Patriots to actually fire Belichick. In actuality, it probably would not even occur. At the most, the two sides would 'agree' to part ways, but there are no reports of that as a potential option right now.
