Trade rumors have swirled around New Orleans Saints' star running back Alvin Kamara over the past week. They haven't phased him, though.
In his post-game press conference after the Saints' win over the Raiders yesterday, Kamara had a strong message about the rumors and New Orleans.
Kamara says that he doesn't really care about the rumors, and he isn't interested in playing anywhere else.
That is music to the ears of many folks in New Orleans. Take a sigh of relief, Saints' fans. You deserve it.
The RB also mentions that he doesn't pay attention to it, but his friends have mentioned it to him at moments.
Kamara seemed extremely relaxed and jovial during his interview. It makes sense after his impressive performance against the Raiders where he had over 150 yards and three touchdowns.
Further than that though, it seems like the vibes around the team have improved a great amount over the past week.
The Saints seem re-focused, and Kamara is focused on being in New Orleans for the foreseeable future.
