According to Nick Underhill, Chase Young's visit with the team scheduled for Friday, March 15th was rescheduled.
The free agent pass rusher was set to meet with the organization last week, but clearly, something changed. No reason has been provided.
UPDATE: Young is in New Orleans to meet with the Saints on Monday afternoon, according to Nick Underhill.
Additionally, Young is set to meet with the Tennessee Titans on Monday. He left his meeting with the Carolina Panthers last week without a deal.
The need is a major one for the Saints. Their pass rush was one of the worst in the NFL last season when it came to getting to quarterbacks. Carl Granderson is a passable pass rusher, but Cameron Jordan has seen a sharp decline in the passing game.
Young could rekindle the potential upside in New Orleans' system, but now, they may not even get a chance to meet with him. Keep an eye out for updates here.
