It is no secret that the New Orleans Saints added plenty of talent during this offseason. An addition that may have flown over the radar is interior defensive lineman Khalen Saunders.
Saunders is an impressive run-stopper and provides good pass rush skills for a bigger IDL. Overall, he is a solid piece for a Saints defensive line that had to make upgrades. Saunders played his last four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. Over there, he and star DL Chris Jones became good buddies.
Now, the duo poke fun at each other all the time on social media. Jones threw some comedic shade at Saunders earlier today with a meme.
It's all in good fun – of course. The two teams met last weekend in preseason action where the Saints won by a score of 26-24. They will look to build on that victory this weekend.
