Saints, Allen, dalton

The New Orleans Saints started so well, but it ended up going downhill, as most of us expected. If you don't know what I'm referring to, then watch the week 7 highlights of Thursday Night Football between the Saints and the Arizona Cardinals.

The game actually did start well for the Saints. It all went crashing down at the end of the first half, as Andy Dalton made mistake after mistake, and I'm not exaggerating, either. The game was tied at 14 all, until Dalton quite literally gave the game away, twice, in a row.

With under two minutes left in the first half, the backup quarterback, who got the start due to Jameis Winston being hurt, threw an interception that was supposed to go to Marquez Callaway. Instead, it went to Marco Wilson, who returned it 38 yards for a touchdown.

The second one was thrown over the middle to a wide-open Isaiah Simmons. Only one thing wrong here, he is on the other team. Simmons ran the interception back 56 yards for a touchdown.

Then, things get even crazier, in my opinion.

There is a report out there that Saints' head coach Dennis Allen was asked what he told Andy dalton at the half, and this was his response.

"Nothing."

Not only is that crazy, but it's also insane.

Even if Dalton played well, Allen is supposed to talk to his quarterback at the half. Now, if his quarterback did something bad, then he definitely needs to talk to him. I don't know if he was frustrated or what, but that just cannot happen.

This is something the Saints need to make sure doesn't happen again.
