The Saints have gotten some good new lately when it comes to injuries or suspensions. Jameis Winston had a small tweak in practice last week, but the injury seems minor. Alvin Kamara probably won't be suspended this season. Finally, Michael Thomas seems to be back to near full health. Saints head coach Dennis Allen spoke about Thomas on Tuesday.
This is a pretty strong statement from the first-year Saints HC. It isn't a guarantee, but it is quite close to that.
Regardless, it is awesome news for the Saints and their fans. A healthy Michael Thomas is one of the best talents at WR in the league. Not to mention, they added other talent to their receiver room as well. Chris Olave and Jarvis Landry will take some of the load off of Thomas.
It has been a long time since we saw a fully healthy Thomas, but his health is vital this season if the Saints want to contend in the NFC. Dennis Allen is confident in his availability to start the regular season.
