Saints, Allen

On Monday after the loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen sounded in denial about one thing most people think needs to change.

It's clear, the Saints have some major issues. Not everyone agrees on what they may be, but there are definitely issues.

I don't necessarily think Andy Dalton is the issue, but he is an issue. He has been turning the ball over too much, while also not being able to put points on the board, which is why I think Jamies Winston is the better quarterback, and should easily start after this last game.

Allen does not.

“I think our offense has been pretty good and moved the ball,” Allen said after the 27-13 loss to the Ravens. “This was not a good day for us, but I’m looking at this as this was a bad day at the office for us and we’ve got to improve.”

You cannot keep having bad days at the office, while still losing games the way you are losing them. You can't keep losing games either.

The season is officially getting too deep into it to continue to lose games. The Saints are now in the third-place spot in the horrid NFC South.

I think Winston needs to start, and here is why.

Winston will score points, we know that. Look at his time in Tampa bay. he had weapons, as he does here, with a bad offensive line, also somewhat similar to New Orleans, but still found a way to score while having turnovers.

Right now, it's kind of one-sided, with turnovers being thrown and now points being scored still.

While Dalton has done some good things during his time as the starter, it is time for someone else. Either you trot Taysom Hill out there and just run the entire offense around him, and allow him to be a playmaker, or let Winston throw the ball, which is what he does best.

It doesn't matter, though. It seems like Allen isn't going to make a move anyways.
