It is no secret that the New Orleans Saints offense has not been impressive for most of this season. The inconsistencies are frustrating, and quarterback Derek Carr is catching plenty of frustration.
Carr has just six touchdowns in seven starts. Miscommunication has slapped their offense in the face. Former Saints QB Chase Daniel doesn't think that Carr is the problem for the issues on offense so far in New Orleans, though.
Daniel, in particular, broke down clips from the team's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The former NFL QB pointed out that the Jags were playing a 'Tampa 2' defense that forced a plethora of check down throws from Derek Carr, and he acknowledged that the offense looked a bit bland – not to the QB's fault. Daniel's nearly 19-minute explanation video is a good watch.
Daniel doesn't relinquish all blame from Carr in the video, but he does point out other flaws in the offense that he feels many folks are overlooking. He would be correct there.
