Former New Orleans Saints safety Marcus Williams has his fair share of highlights. He was a solid defender during his time in The Big Easy, and that should not go overlooked. That being said, his most notable play was the missed tackle on Stefon Diggs during the Minneapolis Miracle. It's difficult to really ever live a misstep like that down, and Saints fans will never forget it.
He's no longer with the team, but folks still keep tabs on him with Baltimore. He's had bright spots there as well, but injuries have been frustrating for him with the Ravens, too.
In joint practice this week with the Washington Commanders, Williams got bulldozed by Commanders running back Antonio Gibson.
Williams still has a bright future ahead of him in the NFL. He's widely considered a top twelve safety across the league. Saints fans will always keep an eye on him – no matter what.
