Since the schedule release earlier this week, the New Orleans Saints have been getting plenty of buzz. On paper, their schedule does look fairly 'easy' when it's compared to others around the NFL.
That being said, it's the NFL. It is unpredictable and the top level of play in the world. No team will roll over for New Orleans.
That being said, one former star player and fan favorite for the Saints has high hopes for this year's team. Lance Moore thinks that the Saints will win 13 games this year.
Clearly, Moore is a believer in Derek Carr as the Saints new quarterback. The former wideout was pretty critical of the Saints and their staff last season. He also mentioned the tough injury luck last season, too.
The frustration was understandable, though, as New Orleans did underwhelm a year ago. Now, he believes that a bounce back campaign is in order.
With one of the weakest schedules based on last year's winning percentage from last season, the Saints could make a legitimate run for the division crown. The NFC is wide open. If the Saints reach Moore's heights, they could contend for the conference title as well. We'll see if the former fan favorite is right.
