Welcome to Saints-Falcons week, folks. The New Orleans Saints will battle the Atlanta Falcons for the top spot in the NFC South in Week 12.
The matchup won't occur on Thanksgiving, but everyone can give thanks for a rivalry like this one. It's the chippiest in the entire NFC South.
How can you watch Sunday's matchup for the Saints?
- WHO: New Orleans Saints @ Atlanta Falcons
- WHEN: Sunday, November 26th at 12 P.M. (CST)
- WHERE (on TV): FOX
- Betting Odds: Falcons -1, Over/Under 42.5
Desmond Ridder will start at quarterback for Atlanta. At QB for New Orleans, Derek Carr is the expected starter as he tries to clear concussion protocol before Sunday's game. That's the expectation for now, but anything can happen.
If Carr cannot go, Jameis Winston will start for the Saints. Michael Thomas will miss Sunday's showdown after being placed on injured reserve with a knee injury earlier this week. Marshon Lattimore is also expected to be out for the Week 12 rivalry game with a high ankle sprain he suffered in Week 10.
The Saints are 18th in points on offense, while the Falcons are 24th.
On defense, New Orleans holds the 8th spot in points allowed. Atlanta is 18th in the NFL.
It should be a gritty matchup with plenty on the line for both teams. Don't miss it, Saints fans.
