LSU HC Brian Kelly makes definitive statement about potentially coaching in the NFL

Recruiting has always been a challenge for college football coaches, but the addition of NIL deals and the NCAA transfer portal has turned the job into a different animal.
Coaches essentially never stop recruiting. They're always managing their roster, not truly knowing from week to week if their team will suffer any losses.
For those reasons, we've seen plenty of coaches jump to the NFL in recent years.
Assistant coaches, specifically, seem to be attracted to the NFL (a similar paycheck but less work is an attractive option).
Some head coaches have made the difficult jump, too (though it often doesn't work out).
LSU football head coach Brian Kelly, previously the head coach at Notre Dame, is someone who has been rumored to be interested in the NFL multiple times over the years.
Kelly nearly left Notre Dame for the NFL a decade ago, but he decided to stick around in South Bend.
The LSU head coach recently appeared on "Bussin with the Boys" and he was asked if there's a chance that he will leave Baton Rouge for the NFL at any point in the future.
And Kelly made it clear that he has no desire to leave LSU.
"No, I'm all in," said Kelly when asked about the NFL. "This is it. I love what I do. Because I've refound, if that's a word, the relationships with the players. And I enjoy that too much."
Kelly noted that he's no longer in lengthy playcaller meetings which allows him to spend more time with his players.
It certainly seems as though Kelly is right at home at LSU. Not only does he seem happy in Baton Rouge, but college football fans have seen a more relaxed and candid Kelly at LSU. His personality has been able to shine through during his first year with the Tigers.
It sounds like LSU has their coach for the next decade-plus. I wouldn't be surprised if Kelly finally adds a College Football Playoff championship to his resumé in the not-so-distant future.
