The New Orleans Saints coaching search continues to come together. Some more updates around the NFL have carved out an intriguing timeline for the Saints.

New Orleans will reportedly interview for Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy early next week. A specific day for the interview has not been announced yet. The Chicago Bears also have interest in McCarthy.

Saints general manager Mickey Loomis discussed their process around interviewing HC candidates on Monday.

"I don't really think we have to do that. We're not recruiting. We're interviewing, and they're interviewing us….I don't think selling is the right, I don't think we need to do that. There's going to be questions….Each candidate is going to have things that are important to them." — Loomis

There is also a distinguished list of pieces to their front office that is helping with the coaching search. The following six executives are involved.

  • Mickey Loomis, GM
  • Michael Parenton, Director of Pro Personnel

  • Dave Zeigler, Advisor
  • Randy Mueller, Senior advisor

The plan is to interview Washington Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury, Philadelphia Eagles OC Kellen Moore, and Buffalo Bills OC Joe Brady at the end of this week, according to Albert Breer.
