The New Orleans Saints have a vital situation to contend with this off-season.

Sean Payton is looking at a return to the sidelines. The former Saints head coach wants to coach again, and one team could make a trade for him sooner rather than later.

The Denver Broncos fired Nathaniel Hackett and have an ultra-aggressive front office. Their wallets are deeper than any other ownership group in the entire NFL.

The New Orleans Saint are officially eliminated from the playoff race. Therefore, their sights are set on the future of the franchise.

The Broncos are interested in Payton and may not want to wait around for other suitors to begin discussions with the Saints.

The ownership group for Denver will be able to outbid anyone else in the league when it comes to money. They will be willing to put it all on the line, too, since they traded for Russell Wilson last off-season.

They may believe that Payton and the staff he brings in could revitalize Wilson's career and changed the trajectory of the Broncos.

It is a big chance to take, but it fits their profile without a doubt.

For the Saints, they may want to take care of the Payton situation earlier in the off-season.

They probably don't want the possibility of a trade looming over them. Plus, the draft compensation they get in return will shift their corresponding moves on the roster and staff.

For now, we know that the Broncos certainly have some interesting in the former Saints HC.
