The New Orleans Saints will face the Carolina Panthers in Week 2. It's the start to divisional play for new Saints QB Derek Carr.

In the matchup, the Panthers are expected to be without their top cornerback. Jaycee Horn suffered a hamstring injury in Week 1 that will sideline him multiple weeks, according to Jeremy Fowler.

Now, expect Donte Jackson and C.J. Henderson to be the starting outside CBs for Carolina. Jeremy Chinn will be in the nickel, and he is impressive. Regardless, it is a tough break for the Panthers.

For the Saints, it opens up the field for QB Derek Carr. He pushed the ball downfield a few times against Tennessee, but expect that number to increase. That is, if the offensive line gives him more time.

Carr will have a talent advantage with his skill positions players. Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed had huge Week 1 performances, and Michael Thomas looked solid as well. They will build on that in Week 2.
