The 2024 NFL Draft is less than a week away, and teams are preparing to welcome their 2024 rookie classes.

In a recent three-round mock draft, the New Orleans Saints had a player land in their laps that fans have been clamoring for.

Round 1, Pick 14: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia

"The Saints may not have landed one of the top WRs in this draft class to pair with Chris Olave, but the next best thing is an elite TE prospect like Georiga's Brock Bowers. We talk about TEs being a security blanket for a young QB, but with the Saints, I think Bowers can help get the most out of veteran Derek Carr, who is locked in as the Saints starting QB for at least this season."

The league has been anxiously waiting for Brock Bowers to make the jump to the NFL. And now the wait is over, and multiple NFL fan bases are banging the table for their team to draft the elite TE prospect. Bowers would open up so many possibilities in the Saints offense, and with Michael Thomas being released, they need a reliable pass catcher to take pressure off Chris Olave.

Round 2, Pick 45: Michael Hall Jr., DT, Ohio State

Michael Hall Jr. is one of the most balanced DTs in this class in terms of playing against both the pass and the run. He projects best as a three-technique but could see some teams using him as a five-technique as well. The Saints need more talent on their defensive line, whether that's on the interior or the edge; they need more difference-makers.
