The New Orleans Saints have a tall task ahead of them on Monday night. They will face the Kansas City Chiefs, who sit at 4-0, after a month of play. In every way, New Orleans must find small ways to get an upper hand.

That may come in the form of a quick score on their first possession to put pressure on the Chiefs offense. The Saints could also force an early turnover to grab momentum.

They also could get a minor advantage when it comes to the raucous KC crowd as well. Don't bank on it, but it's a possibility.

Saints may gain small advantage for MNF vs. Chiefs

The MLB postseason could play a role in fan attendance for the Chiefs. Their Kansas City Royals will face the New York Yankees on Monday night in the second game of the ALDS.

Royals-Yankees playoff game set for 6:38 P.M. central. Saints-Chiefs' kick set for 7:15 P.M. central.

The playoff game for the Royals will undoubtedly have larger implications for their trophy hopes, compared to this matchup for the Chiefs. We could see a contingent choose to go the baseball game, if given the choice.

Regardless, everyone knows that Arrowhead will be rocking for Patrick Mahomes and his team. They are not back-to-back Super Bowl champions with a weak fan base when it comes to attendance.

New Orleans will need to get off to a hot start to keep the Saints fans, who can make the game, in the game and loud. Don't let them get bored and leave.

A slow start may doom Dennis Allen's crew. They'll try to avoid that to get to 3-2 on the season after five weeks of play.
