The New Orleans Saints won. Yep, it is hard to believe, but they actually beat the Cleveland Browns in what may have been the worst weather conditions in the league this weekend.
Every team that played outside this weekend had some brutal weather, but when you compare all the other games to this one, this may have been the coldest, and the most brutal.
The Saints traveled to Cleveland, Ohio in Week 16 on Christmas Eve, and the temperature was in the single digits and negative at times, with a feels-like temperature at nearly -30 degrees due to wind chill, which the winds were at around 30 miles per hour.
It's safe to say this game was brutal.
In fact, that was the coldest game in New Orleans Saints history, and Alvin Kamara believed it.
"That was the coldest game in Saints history," Kamara asked. "Yeah, that was some bull [expletive]."
I think we can all agree with Kamara in saying that was way too cold for a game of football. Shout out to all of the players, coaches, staff, and fans who were out in this brutal weather this weekend.
I guess you could say that is a new record for the Saints. Let's hope they don't have to break that record anytime soon, because colder than that may as well be playing in Antarctica.
