Players always have an opinion. Sometimes, those get onto social media. Other times, they keep them sealed and shut in their brains. For a few New Orleans Saints players, they released a key opinion on the team's head-coaching search.

Alvin Kamara chooses next coach

If Kamara had a vote, he would choose Darren Rizzi as the next head coach for the Saints.

Kamara is not overly active on social media. When it comes to sharing opinions or giving sports takes, you won't hear much from him on any of the apps.

That being said, he knows how important this choice is for New Orleans' future. Don't forget that he locked in a contract extension during the season as well. He plans to retire as a Saint, and the franchise hopes for that to be the outcome, too.

Ion really speak too much football. Especially in the offseason. But it be funny hearing why yall think a coach should get a job or not. But then again.. the last time some yall played organized anything was last night on 2k. Can’t een get ya best friend to pass you the ball at the park. Wife mad as hell you yelling on the game all night — Kamara via Twitter/X

He made his take quite clear on social media, and some of his teammates agreed.

Valdes-Scantling and Jordan agree

Two veterans for New Orleans this past season shared his belief in Rizzi.

Cameron Jordan and Marquez Valdes-Scantling both support Rizzi as the team's next HC. His impact as interim made a clear difference to some of the team.

Rizzi has interviewed for the position and is certainly still a candidate. The team plans to interview Aaron Glenn (pending Jets interview Tuesday), Mike Kafka, and Anthony Weaver later this week for a second time.

The long-time special teams coordinator has been with the Saints since 2019. He's garnering interest from the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos for that position, as well as some HC interest elsewhere, too.

The 54-year-old provided a spark on the sideline and helped the Saints win their first two games under his interim watch. However, New Orleans finished the campaign on a 1-5 run and missed the playoffs. — TheScore

Regardless, you can tell that Rizzi's fire and energy wore off on some veterans in New Orleans. They believe that he can get them back on track, even if the end of the season didn't finish how they would have hoped, most likely.
