The New Orleans Saints need all the fire power they can get this weekend.
They'll face a daunting opponent in the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles may or may not have their star quarterback in Jalen Hurts. He's listed as doubtful.
For the Saints, there were concerns early in the week about Alvin Kamara's availability. Those have been put to rest.
Kamara missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to persona reasons. He returned on Friday, fortunately.
It sounds like he will be good to go against the Eagles on Sunday.
The Saints need Kamara to have a big game against Philly.
They really need the offense to have one of their best games of the season, honestly. The Eagles' offense showed that they can put up points even with a backup QB last week versus Dallas.
Philly's defense has shown more blemishes in the past few weeks, though. The Saints need to play smash mouth football and take advantage of any opportunities they have on Sunday.
The running game has to get going early for New Orleans. That means getting Alvin Kamara and Taysom Hill involved early and often.
It'll be an uphill battle, but a Saints offense with Alvin Kamara is a lot better than the one without the star running back.
