The New Orleans Saints continue to suffer impactful injuries at important positions on both sides of the football. As the offense gets healthier, their defense has now dealt with their own problems staying healthy.

Saints rule out two key players

Both cornerback Marshon Lattimore and cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry are out for their Week 9 matchup against Carolina. Both are dealing with hamstring injuries.

Only one Saints cornerback is healthy at the moment. That would be Alontae Taylor, who usually plays in the slot. Now, he will most likely get reps on the outside as New Orleans scrambles at the position.

Ugo Amadi is listed as a safety, but expect him to start at slot CB for the Saints on Sunday. Depth CB Rico Payton has a chance to play, according to head coach Dennis Allen.

New Orleans is without Paulson Adebo for the rest of the season. Their cornerback depth chart is a major concern now, after the injuries to McKinstry and Lattimore.

Expect CB Shemar Jean-Charles to get elevated for Sunday's game. New Orleans could also elevate Tre Herndon for the game, too.
