New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson has made major strides over the past two seasons. Originally a wide receiver, he has blossomed in their system and turned into one of the best red-zone targets in the NFC.
Accordingly, you'd think he would get quite the jump in his Madden 24 rating. That's not the case. Johnson is still just a 75 overall rating in the new video game.
Johnson totaled seven touchdowns last year, easily the most of his career. He stepped up in a big way for the Saints. Johnson caught 42 receptions for 508 receiving yards last season, and it is easy to see possible improvement going forward with an improvement at QB in Derek Carr.
He deserved to be much closer to an 80 overall – if not above it after last season. He was arguably a top twelve player at the position, especially when you see his consistency compared to other options.
