The New Orleans Saints have been extremely stout on defense over the past few seasons, and guys like edge rusher Cam Jordan sit at the forefront as to why that is.

Jordan is coming off 66 tackles (second most of his career) and 8.5 sacks in 2022, and the 115.5 he has for his career are a franchise record. However, Jordan ranks very high on another list, and it's an unexpected one.

According to Pro Football Reference, Jordan's 58 pass breakups are the fourth on the Saints since 1999 trailing only current teammate Marshon Lattimore (78) as well as former cornerbacks Fred Thomas (77) and Jabari Greer (68).

Jordan is entering his 13th season, and if he were a defensive back, 58 pass breakups would be considered very solid. But the fact that Jordan bangs up against 300-pound offensive linemen 60-70 plays a game a still manages to get his hands on that many passes is quite impressive.

For his career, Jordan has six seasons with at least five pass breakups which include an unreal 11 in 2017, his only first-team All-Pro campaign.

Jordan is simply a jack of all trades when it comes to his value on the Saints' defense.
