Kellen Moore has a new task at hand. As the newest head coach of the New Orleans Saints, he must build his coaching staff around him. Choosing the correct assistants can play a huge role in the team's success going forward.
Moore has been in contact with plenty of assistants he knows well over the past week, and it won't be a surprise to see some hires happen over the course of the next two or three weeks.
The young head coach could choose to keep certain assistants in the building, to retain some continuity with players, but an overhaul is fairly likely.
This Saints' coaching staff tracker will be updated as hires become reported and official. Keep in mind that some of these initial names could be removed if they are replaced by Moore's new additions.

Williams is reportedly being retained as WRs coach on Moore's staff. He is considered a players' favorite in the locker room.
Brendan Nugent — Offensive Line
Nugent has been hired as the new OL coach in New Orleans. He spent 2023 with Moore on the Los Angeles Chargers staff. Nugent also coached the OL for the Saints from 2015-2021.
Scott Tolzien — Quarterbacks
Joel Thomas — Running backs
Ted Rath — Director of Sports Science
Terry Joseph — Defensive pass game coordinator
Kyle Wilbur — Assistant special teams
Jay Rodgers — Defensive assistant
