The New Orleans Saints surprised some folks when they spent big bucks on two additions on offense for the foreseeable future. Quarterback Derek Carr and running back Jamaal Williams will both play vital roles for the Saints.
Carr is believed to be their franchise QB for, at least, the next few seasons. Williams is the backup running back to Alvin Kamara, but he could see elevated playing time if Alvin Kamara is suspended this season due to his legal case.
Either way, Williams provides incredible depth at RB for New Orleans.
Both Williams and Carr have already talked plenty, and Williams has even begun to send Pokemon pictures to his quarterback.
As many folks now, Williams is a big fan of anime, including Pokemon. He is an entertaining character that is sure to bring even more energy to the offense.
The Saints are super excited to have him as a teammate and talent. Carr sounds like he's ready to get to work with Williams and his new team as well.
