After their Week 11 win over the Cleveland Browns to improve to 4-7, the New Orleans Saints currently have the tenth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. In a top-heavy draft class, it could be tough for them to get the cream of the crop at a position without picking in the top five.

In one recent mock draft, though, they land arguably the top wide receiver in the class with that tenth selection.

Saints select WR Tetairoa McMillan

The Arizona Wildcats wide receiver is a massive target at 6'5 and 212 pounds. His catch radius is a big one, as he's made a handful of gorgeous one-handed grabs and contested catches during his college days.

The New Orleans Saints' difficult cap situation may force them to run Derek Carr back for another season. If so, adding an instant contributor to the passing game like Tetairoa McMillan would make sense. With Chris Olave beginning to earn the injury-prone label, McMillan would project as the dominant "X" boundary wideout in Klint Kubiak's offense.

For New Orleans, adding McMillan may make tons of sense because of the type of wideouts on their depth chart currently.

Chris Olave is a smooth, quick-twitch receiver that can stretch the field and find space. He does not have quite the size to play a role similar to McMillan, though.

You can say the same for Rashid Shaheed, too. New Orleans extended him this season, so he will be back in 2025 as the speedy, downfield threat with a smaller frame for whoever is the Saints quarterback.

Accordingly, McMillan is he perfect style of wideout to finish out that trio. His upside is amongst the best in this class, and it's widely expected that he will get taken early in round one.

Every NFL offense that doesn't have a true X WR is looking for one. And in this year's draft, every team searching for it should have McMillan ranked high, if not at the top of their board. You can't teach a WR to have his elite measurables and incredible production go along with it, making him one of the top WRs in this year's draft class. His overall draft position probably comes down to the style of WR a team is targeting, but he should certainly hear his name called in the top half of the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

McMillan is a great mover with the football in his hands at his size. He's forcing tackles that many players in college football simply have no chance to force because of his athleticism and physical traits.

At A to Z Sports, McMillan is ranked as the fifth overall player (#1 WR) in the 2025 NFL Draft class.

The Saints will have a plethora of holes to fill, during an offseason where some tough decisions on veteran players may have to be made due to salary cap restraints.

Regardless, adding a premier talent outside could do wonders for the future of the Saints offense. McMillan fits that bill.
