The New Orleans Saints need all they can get on Sunday if they want a chance to not only win but making the playoffs. If you were to look at their record, you would think it could be impossible for them to make it, but their division is so bad that it is very possible.

On Sunday, the Eagles and Saints will face off. It will be the league's best team against one that many would consider below-average.

But on Wednesday, the Saints got some good news pertaining to their opponent that could help them this weekend.

Let's face it, beating the Eagles is a long shot, but if they don't have their MVP candidate quarterback in Jalen Hurts, it would only make it easier.

Hurts missed the last game against the Cowboys after he was injured against the Bears. Gardner Minshew started in place for him and actually didn't do too badly. However, they still lost, and that could happen to the Saints as well.

On Wednesday the Eagles didn't have Hurts practice, along with some other starters and very key players.

Hurts (shoulder), Avonte Maddox (toe), Lane Johnson (groin), and Miles Sanders (knee) all missed practice Wednesday.

A.J. Brown (knee), and rookie Jordan Davis (concussion), both were limited on Wednesday.

The Eagles have been pretty healthy all year for the most part, but it seems injuries are starting to catch up to them. The Saints, on the other hand, are still dealing with injuries and have all year.

Either way, if none of those guys play, which we don't know yet if they will, the Saints have something going their way.
