The young golfer's only other PGA Tour win came in 2023. He and Nick Hardy won the Zurich Classic team event in New Orleans. Now, it has come full circle for Riley.
Riley's performance on Sunday was especially impressive. With all of the pressure on him, he turned up his play to a special level.
Riley shot even-par 70 to finish at 14-under 266, five strokes ahead of Scott Scheffler and Keegan Bradley.
“You got the No. 1 player in the world breathing down your neck, not really any shot lead is too comfortable. … I tried to treat today as if we both started tied and I just tried to win the day.” — Riley
Scheffler is the top golfer in the world, and Riley beat him on a major stage. There's another offseason win for the Saints.
