The New Orleans Saints fell to an NFC foe on Sunday. They now sit at 2-1 on the season.

They took a Week 3 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, and former Saints DB CJ. Gardner-Johnson made sure everyone knew his opinion on the Saints after his team got a win.

Chauncey Gardner-Johnson takes shot at Saints after Eagles win

"They ain't no contenders they're pretenders. They have Derek Carr remember that." — CGJ on Saints in Eagles' locker room

Clearly, he does not respect Carr, who had a an inconsistent game on Sunday afternoon. His best play was a great touchdown throw to Saints wide receiver Chris Olave. Olave beat Gardner-Johnson on that play, leaving him nearly ten yards behind him in the end zone.

Alvin Kamara also had an aggressive stiff arm on a run against Gardner-Johnson earlier in the game.

Gardner-Johnson struggled badly for much of the game against skill position players on New Orleans. His team got the victory, though, so he's making sure to be loud afterwards.

Gardner-Johnson continues comical rant on social media

The Eagles DB made sure to check in social media righty after the game, too. He saw a lot of folks doubting the Eagles entering the NFC matchup and wanted t make that known.

The Eagles defender accused the Saints defensive backs of not being able to chase down Dallas Goedert on a broken play that led to the Eagles' game-winning TD.

He's overlooking that the Saints overloaded one side of the field on defense for the play, so Goedert's opening gave him tons of free space down the sideline. It was not a speed issue, but rather, New Orleans defenders collided in coverage and opened up yardage for Goedert.

They did, in fact, catch him after a massive gain, too.

Gardner-Johnson certainly lives up to his agitator title. Even in a game where he did very little productive on the field, that won't prevent him from running his mouth after the rest of his team finished the job for a win.

He should focus on improving his play on the back end, instead of social media rants. If he did prior to today, the Saints probably would not have scored a single TD against Philly in Week 3.
