The newest breaking news regarding the NFL doesn't directly affect the New Orleans Saints. In a way, though, it does affect their schedule in a meaningful manner. New Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson was suspended for eleven games. That means that he will return in week thirteen against the Houston Texans.

Most importantly for the Saints, Watson will be available for their matchup with the Browns in week sixteen. He presents a much different challenge than Browns backup QB Jacoby Brissett.

The last time the Saints faced Watson was quite the game. It was an offensive showdown that ended with a Will Lutz field goal after Drew Brees led the team down the field in under a minute.

This time around, the Saints will hope to contain Watson a bit more. He played very well that day for Houston. Today's news definitely makes that portion of the Saints' schedule quite a bit tougher to round out the season.
