Saints, Steelers

Yeah, the Pittsburgh Steelers aren't just otherwordly this year. However, they are a team that can beat you if you aren't careful. Then again, this is the NFL, so that can happen any week against any team. The New Orleans Saints need to know what they will be facing on Sunday.

Obviously, they already know.

The Steelers have some great weapons on their team. To start with the defense, we all know about T.J. Watt, who will be playing for the first time since Week 1. He is one of the best pass rushers in the league.

The Steelers also have a decent secondary, with players like Minkah Fitzpatrick, and Terrell Edmonds.

Of course, the offense is decent, too. Najee Harris isn't having the year we thought he would, but he can still break off a big run at any moment. The receivers on this squad, well, they are young and good.

Dionte Johnson and George Pickens could be a handful on Sunday.

"Yeah, no question. No question," co-defensive coordinator Kris Richard said on the Pittsburgh receivers. "Really talented core. Good quickness and speed. Obviously Pickens, powerful, jump-ball type, like Chase Claypool. Obviously, the organization has moved on from Claypool, but you can see 14 [Pickens] moving into that kind of role. Again, the bigger body.

"Not so much in regard to all the fly sweeps and things of that nature, but as far as the routes, going downfield and the intermediate routes, and all the verticle routes on the outside. You have to put yourself in a phase. You have to know it's going to be a physical contest. A lot of pushing and shoving, and jostling for a position there is no question about it. So, it is ball combat time for sure."

The Saints know what they are facing, and they know it won't be easy. But, they have done fairly well with receivers throughout this year.

Let's go back to a few weeks when they played the Las Vegas Raiders, who have the best receiver in the game in Davante Adams. He had the worst game of his career against the Saints.

I think the Saints' defensive backs, and defense as a whole can be very disruptive on Sunday against the Steelers.
