The New Orleans Saints received a massive scare on Friday. Star cornerback Marshon Lattimore was injured, and he missed team drills. Lattimore was seen with a heavy wrap on his left leg. There's a bright spot at this moment, though.
According to a plethora of sources, Dennis Allen says that the injury is not considered a serious one for Lattimore. He was held out for precautionary reasons.
This shouldn't surprise anyone. The Saints have been extremely cautious with injuries to players during camp, and this is no exception. Hopefully, Allen is correct about the severity of the injury, too.
Lattimore has been a star of practice so far as the season approaches. The team knows that they must have their healthy CB1 to achieve their goals this year.
