Running back was a popular position when it came to day two targets for the New Orleans Saints. Ultimately, TCU's Kendre Miller emerged as their top option, so they selected him with the 71st overall pick.

Miller has exciting upside with his burst and balance. He got some supreme praise from one of his coaches that he played under during his days as a Horned Frog.

Miller proved that he can make big plays happen during his collegiate days. The former TCU RB totaled 38 carries of 10+ yards last season. The Saints, as a team, had 46 carries of that length a year ago. Miller also has size that can play an important role at the NFL level. He weighs in at 215 pounds and is 5'11.

His past coaches think he is special. Miller will have his opportunity to prove that with the Saints going forward.
