ESPN has been releasing its list of the top 10 players at every position since the end of last week. The New Orleans Saints have been well represented with Demario Davis making the linebacker rankings and Cam Jordan getting an honorable mention nod for edge rushers.

Marshon Lattimore got his flowers as well as he was landed at the No.7 spot for the cornerback position, but that wasn't enough for one of his former teammates.

The NFL's Twitter account posted a picture on Wednesday of some of the top corners in the league including Sauce Gardner of the New York Jets, Patrick Surtain of the Denver Broncos, and Jalen Ramsey of the Miami Dolphins.

In the caption, the question of who is the best cornerback in football was asked, but the image didn't feature Lattimore, and C.J. Gardner-Johnson of the Detroit Lions took issue with it.

"No Marshon ? LATT DEFINITELY TOP 5," Gardner-Johnson posted on Twitter account

Lattimore played with Gardner-Johnson in New Orleans for three seasons (2019-2021). During that span, Lattimore was named to the Pro Bowl each year so Gardner-Johnson knows a little something about his skill set.

When looking at the top corners in the NFL it's splitting hairs with a lot of them, and there can be a multitude of rankings put out. Don't tell Gardner-Johnson that, though, because if Lattimore isn't in your top five, you'll be hearing from him.
