The New Orleans Saints made some major decisions on Saturday. After placing Michael Thomas on injured reserve earlier in the week, another star player joined the veteran wideout.
The Saints are placing cornerback Marshon Lattimore on IR. He will miss at least four games.
This move should not shock anyone, but it is costly for a Saints team fighting for a spot in the postseason.
Head coach Dennis Allen signified that this decision was possible earlier in the week. He said that they hadn't ruled out an IR trip for Lattimore, and clearly, that was true.
New Orleans wanted to see him this week before deciding, but their observations led to this move. Lattimore is dealing with a high ankle sprain that Allen expected would force him to miss 'significant time' after their Week 10 game vs. the Minnesota Vikings.
