Tight end Juwan Johnson is being re-signed by the New Orleans Saints.

Per Johnson's agent, AJ Vaynerchuk, the Saints are signing Johnson to a two-year deal.

A fourth-year player this upcoming season, Johnson was an undrafted free agent signee of the Saints back in 2020. After grinding on the practice squad as a rookie, he worked his way up to the active roster in 2021 and made two starts in 14 games played.

Johnson officially broke out as a receiver in 2022, totaling 508 yards and seven touchdowns on 42 receptions. He was credited for starting every game Week 6 through the end of the regular season.

Johnson was a restricted free agent entering the new league year, and instead of placing a tender on him, the Saints opted to sign him to a multi-year deal that will keep him on the team through the 2024 season.

With the Saints now being led by Derek Carr at quarterback, there's a good chance Johnson builds off his productive year and continues to solidify himself as the starting tight end in the offense.
