Saints and Kellen Moore will reportedly make NFL history outside of the USA during 2026 season
New Orleans will go international to play in a game that fans will be very excited for in 2026.
The New Orleans Saints have a lot of reasons to be excited for the 2026 season, but another one just jumped into view – via recent a notable report.
The black and gold will head overseas once again for action during next season, Kellen Moore’s second as the team’s head coach.
Saints will play in France during 2026 season
According to RMC Sport, a major French news outlet, the Saints will play the Cleveland Browns in Paris during the 2026 season. The game is expected to take place on October 25th.
“After months of negotiations, it’s finally official: the first NFL game in France will take place in Paris, at the Stade de France, on October 25, 2026. It will pit the New Orleans Saints against the Cleveland Browns.” — RMC Sport
An official report is expected to come during Super Bowl week, so we will see if confirmation lies in the recent future.
Regardless, this comes after some offseason work from Demario Davis and members of the Saints front office last offseason internationally. They have created relationships in France that may have helped land them this chance to play there and make some league history.
This would be second time in five season that New Orleans will have played a “home” game internationally. That is somewhat of a disadvantage for your schedule, but it is also a cool expiernece for the team. The Saints also have ties to France i more ways than one, including exclusive marketing rights there.
New Orleans played the Minnesota Vikings in London during the 2022 campaign. Let’s see if the Saints can come out victorious in this unique opportunity for players and staff alike.
