All-Pro WR DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins officially became an NFL free agent earlier this week. the three-time All-Pro will sign with a new team soon. Someone will get a massive upgrade at WR heading into next season. Expect it to be a one or two-year deal for Hopkins, who is over 30 years old at this point. That being said, his skillset will transition to any offense, and he can still make a major impact.

The New Orleans Saints could use another weapon at WR. The Saints were not listed as a top fit for 'DHop' when discussed by one major NFL analyst

Turning 31 years old in June, Hopkins is coming off a suspension-abbreviated season in which he caught 64 passes for 717 yards and three touchdowns in just nine games. A first-round pick of the Houston Texans in the 2013 NFL Draft, Hopkins has enjoyed a highly decorated decade in the NFL, making five Pro Bowls and earning first-team All-Pro honors three times. — Nick Shook

Shook mentioned seven teams as top fits for Hopkins. The Bills, Chiefs, Lions, Ravens, Panthers, Texans, and Cowboys were the teams discussed by the NFL.com analyst.

For the Saints, they could use Hopkins to create arguably the best WR duo in the NFL with he and Chris Olave. Michael Thomas and Rashid Shaheed would complete the top four on the depth chart for New Orleans.

It is worth monitoring for the Saints.
